In the rapidly evolving landscape of the 21st century where the currents of change often erode the bedrock of our societal values, the call for patriotic activism rings out with renewed urgency.
"Empowered 2 ACT: Maintaining The Pillars of Patriotism," is not merely a response to this call—it is a clarion call of its own, a manifesto for those who stand on the front lines in defense of liberty, tradition, and the enduring principles that constitute the foundation of our society.
Wednesday Deep Dive: Breaking Things Down
Today, we take a look at two stories that are important for you to understand:

“A majority of Americans think that the U.S. economy is heading in the wrong direction, according to an exclusive poll for Newsweek, with many blaming Joe Biden's economic agenda—Bidenomics—for it.
But experts told Newsweek that the U.S. economy is doing relatively well, especially when compared to most other Western economies. The negative outlook on the economy that many Americans hold is likely linked to the fact that the economic picture is objectively complicated and hard to understand right now.”
Hard Stop. Commentary:
Remember, when “the experts” tell you something is doing well, chances are it’s the opposite… let’s continue.
“‘The combination of economic indicators is confusing even for economists who spend all their time looking at these numbers,’ Stephan Weiler, a professor of economics at Colorado State University, told Newsweek. ‘This is just a very unusual combination of fiscal monetary and global circumstances, and that uncertainty is translating into pessimism.’
According to John Van Reenen, Ronald Coase Chair in Economics and School Professor at the London School of Economics (LSE) in London and Digital Fellow, Initiative for the Digital Economy at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT), part of the unhappiness with the U.S. economy is also a ‘hangover’ from the rise of inflation which followed the pandemic.
‘Prices are coming down but that increase is still fresh in people's memories,’ he told Newsweek. ‘Governments all over the world are being punished for that bad experience, and I think that's part of what's happening in the U.S.,’ Van Reened added. ‘It's ironic, because, compared to other advanced countries, the U.S. is doing fantastically well in terms of growth.’
Hard Stop: Commentary:
There’s no “unusual combination” of numbers here… things aren’t good because the government is printing money non-stop, which lowers it’s buying power. That leads to inflation (at best) or “stagflation” - a stagnant economy combined with inflation - which we are dealing with now.
Also, it’s interesting to hear from an economist who basically tells us that “the world sucks, but hey… you’re the best at sucking!”
As the old saying goes, you can’t get a little bit pregnant. We’re not doing well.
Let’s continue.
Many Americans, however, don't see it like Van Reenen. Americans are also negative about their own financial situation. Some 42 percent of respondents said their financial situation has worsened in the last year. Only 26 percent said it has improved, while 32 percent said it has stayed the same.
Some 47 percent of Americans said they were now financially worse off than they were three years before, against 26 percent who said they were better off and 27 percent who said they were about the same. Some 45 percent said they were now worse off than before the pandemic, while 28 percent said they were better off and 27 percent were about the same.
The poll was based on interviews with 1,500 eligible voters in the country.
But despite the malaise shared by millions of Americans, economists insist that the U.S. economy ‘is in a relatively good place,’ as Weiler said.
‘The fact that we're talking about a soft landing coming out of a pandemic—an event that would normally be followed by a huge economic fallout—instead of a recession is tribute to the fact that there was both good monetary policy and fiscal policy during the key periods of 2020, 2022 and 2023,’ he added.”
Hard Stop. Commentary:
The people speak…
See, when you let people express to you what’s really happening to them, they will tell you…
Unlike many classically trained economists, who don’t seem to step outside of the bubble, where the streets are lined with milk and honey.
Which is why they can make statements like this one with a straight face:
“The fact that we're talking about a soft landing coming out of a pandemic—an event that would normally be followed by a huge economic fallout—instead of a recession is tribute to the fact that there was both good monetary policy and fiscal policy during the key periods of 2020, 2022 and 2023,’ he added.”
There’s no soft landing… there’s no good monetary and fiscal policy either, Mr. Weiler.
Folks, this is another indicator to get prepared with the things you’ll need to survive tough economic times and build wealth during a downturn.

Editor’s Note: This article covers a story about the Republican Party Of Florida (“RPOF”) and the Florida Republican Assembly (“FRA”) in which the RPOF sent a cease and desist notice to the FRA around using the word “Republican.”
“And we thought the Left were the “Jackasses”?!?!
On April 19, 2024, in the midst of this winner-take-all battle for freedom in America, WITH A REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE LEADING EVERY POLL FOR POTUS, the RPOF sent a certified ”Cease and Desist” order to the Florida Republican Assembly.
What was the beef of the RPOF Chair, Evan Power, and his gang? They want FRA to stop using the Republican name and the elephant as a symbol of their organization, everywhere.
Dear Lord, save us from idiots.
Or, maybe, in the case of DeSantis’s Republican Party of Florida, we should ask that Florida and America be saved from their enemies, because I truly believe that is actually what is going down here. It’s pretty easy to see.
Republican Assemblies have been in existence since the 1930’s in California. The group was first formed to cross-check the Republican Party in the Golden State, and bring the party back to the people. (Some things never change, I guess. . .)
Ronald Reagan, while he was Governor of California, called the Republican Assembly the “conscience of the Republican Party”.
I’d like to think the RPOF had a little more strength of character than to be intimidated by a successful group of citizens working to save our Republic. I thought that’s what the RPOF was supposed to be doing, too. Silly me.
Frankly, I think that what scares the RPOF is how successful and strong the FRA has become. If they regarded the FRA as friends and compatriots, they would never have struck out with that pettish order. The RPOF regards the FRA as a foe. Hold that thought.”
Hard Stop. Commentary:
The fact that the RPOF looks at another organization on the same side as a “foe” is straight out of the Saul Alinsky Rules For Radicals playbook, particularly:
Rule 13: "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."
Rule 9” "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."
And Rule 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."
Researcher question: Why something like this is happening now?
Let’s continue.
“The role of the FRA has been to support the RPOF in elections, and work alongside them for good Constitutional legislation. There has never before been open conflict.
The FRA is growing fast, while the RPOF of pulling back, secretizing, and becoming “clubbish”. I have had a number of reports from county Republican organizations all over the state, REFUSING MEMBERSHIP to folks who wanted to join. That’s no way to grow a brand, if that is what they’d intended, but apparently, they don’t.
FRA has grown rapidly, using the THREE-PILLAR approach. This is, literally their Operating Manual for success, because it draws people in via three levels of engagement and development into activism, wherever and however they are comfortable.
This is a strong and successful program, especially in the state of Florida. The only reason that the RPOF could disagree is if they do NOT want conservatives to succeed. There’s plenty of work to be done together, and fragmentation/dissolution of any successful efforts can only mean one thing:
The Republican Party of Florida is NOT in support of the people of the state or the nation. They are worse than “RINO”. They have showed their hand.”
Closing Thoughts:
All of this is, at best, disturbing.
There’s a reason we continue to recommend that you read Rules For Radicals, The Communist Manifesto, and also The Art Of War. The term “Know Your Foe” is being taken to a whole new level.
Brace For Impact.
