“The Justice Department will not pursue a campaign finance charge against SamBankman-Fried as part of an effort to adhere to the legal obligations of the FTX founder’s extradition from the Bahamas.
KEY FACTS
The campaign finance violation charge was among eight counts present in the DOJ’s original indictment—which also includes wire fraud, securities fraud and money laundering—in December.
In a filing late Wednesday addressed to New York federal judge Lewis Kaplan, the DOJ said they had been informed that Bahamas ‘did not intend to extradite the defendant on the campaign contributions count.’
This is not the first instance where the terms of Bankman-Fried’s extradition treaty have impacted the charges brought against him. Last month, the DOJ informed Kaplan it was prepared to try Bankman-Fried on eight counts brought against the FTX founder in its original indictment in December last year—temporarily forgoing the five additional charges that were filed earlier thisyear.
Under the terms of Bankman-Fried’s extradition, any additional charges brought against him would need to be approved by the Bahamian government. A court in the Bahamas has blocked the country’s government from approving the five additional charges—which include bank fraud, operating an unlicensed money-transmitting business, and bribery—until his attorneys have a chance to fight them.”

“Thirty years ago, high school shop class seemed on track for extinction.
As school funding became a matter of standardized test scores in reading and math, the budget tightened for classes that taught woodworking and printmaking. From the 1990s to the early 2010s, students took fewer credits in shop class — or as it is now called, Career Tech Education — according to data from the National Center of Education Statistics.
Instead, the priority turned toward securing students spots in four-year degree programs.
In 2015, 125 CTE-related policies were approved across 39 states, according to the Association for Career and Technical Education — boosting funding for CTE programs was one of the top categories of those policies.
Andduring the 2016-2017 school year, 98% of public school districts offered CTE to high school students, though the types of programs varied widely, according to the Department of Education.
That comes after a years-long lull period, which means many high schoolers missed out and only discovered opportunities in the trades years after graduation. But as demand for trade labor grows, so too does the focus on CTE in high schools.”

World Economic Forum chief Klaus Schwab, the global frontman for the so-called ‘Great Reset,’ has been celebrating it all for years as part of what he calls the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution.’In his book on the subject and in speeches, Schwab outlined a plan to merge people with computer technologies, and brain implants, and even to genetically ‘improve’ them.
Things aren’t going to end well if you don’t take action.
But, here’s what’s different this time… multiple people are saying that exact thing from a number of different angles, and in different places.
One of the things we often say is to watch what successful people do, & do what they do, AND then watch what unsuccessful people do, and don’t do what they do…
Most of them are already out of the line of fire for social unrest or economic collapse…
