“If the debt crisis roiling Washington were eventually to send the United States crashing into recession, America’s economy would hardly sink alone.
The repercussions of a first-ever default on the federal debt would quickly reverberate around the world. Orders for Chinese factories that sell electronics to the United States could dry up. Swiss investors who own U.S. Treasurys would suffer losses. Sri Lankan companies could no longer deploy dollars as an alternative to their own dodgy currency.
‘No corner of the global economy will be spared’ if the U.S. government defaulted and the crisis weren’t resolved quickly, said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics.
Zandi and two colleagues at Moody’s have concluded that even if the debt limit were breached for no more than a week, the U.S. economy would weaken so much, so fast, as to wipe out roughly 1.5 million jobs.
And if a government default were to last much longer — well into the summer — the consequences would be far more dire, Zandi and his colleagues found in their analysis: U.S. economic growth would sink, 7.8 million American jobs would vanish, borrowing rates would jump, the unemployment rate would soar from the current 3.4% to 8% and a stock-market plunge would erase $10 trillion in household wealth.”
“Beatrice Herron, 73, clutched a flier offering low-cost cable TV, imagining herself settling into an apartment, somewhere out of the Arizona heat where, like others her age, she can settle into an armchair and tune into a television of her own.
Instead, the grandmother and former autoworker can be found most mornings in a food line, or seeking shade under the awning of a mobile street clinic. At night, she sleeps on a floor mat at a homeless shelter. She laments the odors of human waste outside and the thieves who have victimized her repeatedly.
‘My wallet’s gone,” she said. “My purse was stolen.’
She hardly stands out from the dozens of seniors using wheelchairs and walkers at a complex of homeless shelters near downtown Phoenix, or from the white-haired denizens of tents in the surrounding streets — a testament to a demographic surge that is overwhelming America’s social safety net.
Nearly a quarter of a million people 55 or older are estimated by the government to have been homeless in the United States during at least part of 2019, the most recent reliable federal count available. They represent a particularly vulnerable segment of the 70 million Americans born after World War II known as the baby boom generation, the youngest of whom turn 59 this year.”
“A civil rights group's advisory cautioning people from visiting Florida is ‘nothing more than a stunt,’ a spokesperson for Gov. Ron DeSantis said Monday.
The statement came just days after the NAACP issued a formal travel advisory for Florida in response to what the organization described as DeSantis's ‘aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.’
The DeSantis administration in January blocked the introduction of an Advanced Placement course for high school students that focuses on African American studies.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) previously cautioned people about visiting the state. The LULAC advisory cited strict Florida laws dealing with immigrants. LULA's president Domingo Garcia described Florida as being a ‘dangerous, hostile environment for law-abiding Americans and immigrants."

It’s worth looking into… your future depends on it.
“All Over The Map Monday,” Ripped From The Headlines. Things To Ponder:
“Not To Worry… We Have Nothing Under Control!”
That’s the US government today, in a nutshell…
After months of bickering about spending your money that they’ve already wasted and whether or not to print more of it to kill your wealth, public servants are now down to the wire on the debt ceiling…
If you’re not familiar with the debt ceiling, it’s the government’s ability to “keep meeting its obligations” a license to steal so that the government can “keep functioning…”
Due to massive mismanagement, there are vital programs (like social security) that would cease to make payments if the debt ceiling isn’t lifted…
And that’s fertile ground for grandstanding and grifting…
What’s concerning is when groups like Moodys Analytics get involved, and make statements like this:
‘No corner of the global economy will be spared’ if the U.S. government defaulted and the crisis weren’t resolved quickly, said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics.
Yikes…
It’s good for you to keep in mind the folks that got us here, and how they’ve treated you and your wealth lately…
It’s going to get worse.
Know Your Foe.
"Look At This Awesome Economy… It’s Full Of ELDERLY Homeless People!”
As you’re being told how great things are, what you’re seeing tells a completely different story…
First, it was long lines at the food banks…then, people living off credit cards, then, the decision about eating or paying the electric bill…
And now we’re seeing a flood of elderly people homeless.
If this doesn’t shake you awake, nothing will:
Nearly a quarter of a million people 55 or older are estimated by the government to have been homeless in the United States during at least part of 2019, the most recent reliable federal count available. They represent a particularly vulnerable segment of the 70 million Americans born after World War II known as the baby boom generation, the youngest of whom turn 59 this year.
This IS NOT A GREAT ECONOMY.
And sadly, the pain is far from over.
Brace For Impact.
“It’s So Bad In Florida, Everyone Is Trying To Get There!”
We’ve been critical of Governor DeSantis when warranted…
His handling of SB7050 has been horrendous and presents a clear and present danger to the system…
That said, Florida is booming economically…
And, people from all walks of life are rushing to get in…
So, the question is… why did the NAACP choose to attempt their grift with a “travel advisory?”
Because, as people like Al Sharpton continue to show us, GRIFT IS GOOD!
Make no mistake… this isn’t about people being kept safe…
It’s about taking advantage of an opportunity to profit from division and confusion…
This is an excellent example of KNOW YOUR FOE.

You need to be prepared… there’s just too much crazy stuff happening.
We’ve found the 4Patriots solar generators to be light and easy to use. Plus, they are quiet and don’t require fuel.
You’re able to power key things like your fridge, freezer, coffee maker, and more.
What Does This Mean?
Your government, and its minions, are out of control and blatantly violate the will of the people while robbing you blind…
They want you in a position where you can’t move, spend, eat, or do anything else, sans a Parallel Economy…
The US is turning into a combination of Mad Max & The Hunger Games…
What do YOU think that all means for you?
Why should I care?
Being able to…
Eat…
Travel…
Defend Yourself…
May all get REALLY tough to do…
Everything IS NOT fine.
You should care.
What Should I Do?
Get a plan together, ASAP.
