“The world’s most-developed nations will be told to curb their excessive appetite for meat as part of the first comprehensive plan to bring the global agrifood industry into line with the Paris climate agreement.
The global food systems’ road map to 1.5C is expected to be published by the United Nations’ Food & Agriculture Organization during the COP28 summit next month. Nations that over-consume meat will be advised to limit their intake, while developing countries — where under-consumption of meat adds to a prevalent nutrition challenge — will need to improve their livestock farming, according to the FAO.
The guidance on meat is intended to send a clear message to governments. But politicians in richer nations typically shy away from policies aimed at influencing consumer behavior, especially where it involves cutting consumption of everyday items.
‘Livestock is politically sensitive, but we need to deal with sensitive issues to solve the problem,’ said Dhanush Dinesh, the founder of Clim-Eat, which works to accelerate climate action in food systems. "‘If we don’t tackle the livestock problem, we are not going to solve climate change. The key problem is overconsumption.’”
THINGS TO PONDER:
This is obviously mega-hokum, but isn’t it scary that major publications run this type of thing as serious news?
As we shared with you yesterday, this has VERY LITTLE to do with you eating meat…
It’s about controlling you, where you go, what you buy, and your entire life…
While working to make sure you’re both broke and dead.
It’s why you keep getting pushed to eat “zee bugs,” and why Tyson Foods invested in an insect ingredients company.
Did you realize that humans have issues with “bug protein” and what it does to you?
If not, search it out… and understand how they are coming at you, and what they really want.

“A coalition of more than 3,000 auto dealers nationwide is sending an open letter to President Biden, calling on him to ‘tap the brakes’ on his administration’s aggressive electric vehicle (EV) push.
The coalition — which includes dealers located in all 50 states and who collectively sell every major car brand — is taking particular aim at the Biden administration’s tailpipe emissions standards released earlier this year which are the most aggressive federal regulations of their kind ever issued. Under the regulations proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the majority of new vehicle purchases will be electric within a decade.
’These vehicles are ideal for many people, and we believe their appeal will grow over time,’ the dealers wrote in their letter to Biden on Tuesday. ‘The reality, however, is that electric vehicle demand today is not keeping up with the large influx of BEVs [battery electric vehicles] arriving at our dealerships prompted by the current regulations. BEVs are stacking up on our lots.’
’Last year, there was a lot of hope and hype about EVs,’ the letter continued. ‘Early adopters formed an initial line and were ready to buy these vehicles as soon as we had them to sell. But that enthusiasm has stalled. Today, the supply of unsold BEVs is surging, as they are not selling nearly as fast as they are arriving at our dealerships — even with deep price cuts, manufacturer incentives, and generous government incentives.’”
THINGS TO PONDER:
How’s all of this “green” stuff working out?
Once again this has little to do with EVs, though they are becoming a cancer-like issue as people figure out that what they’ve been hyped up to do can’t actually be done…
This is a part of the Agenda 2030 plan.
Protip: Anytime you hear “sustainable,” or “equity,” it means you’re going to get screwed…
They just don’t want you to know it.
Guess who just figured that out?
The auto dealers.

“The Labour-run local authority confirmed the announcement on Wednesday, saying its chief financial officer had decided it ‘isn't able to deliver a balanced budget for this year, which is a legal requirement.’
As a result of the section 114 notice, all new spending - with the exception of protecting vulnerable people and statutory services - must stop immediately.
It becomes the second local authority this year to fail financially, after Birmingham City Council issued its own 114 notice back in September.
The council has come under financial pressures after its attempt to enter the power market with Robin Hood Energy (RHE) failed in 2020, losing the authority millions.
It later got into trouble after spending millions of pounds ring-fenced for local housing as part of its general budget.
But the authority was also hit hard by changes to central government funding under the coalition government back in 2013/14, as well as soaring inflation and growing demand for social care.”
THINGS TO PONDER:
Remember when you were told that US cities couldn’t go bankrupt?
Then Stockton, CA did just that…
What you’re seeing in the UK is likely a harbinger of things to come in the future, to a town near you.
Prepare accordingly… you’re getting advanced notice.
