“Chinese scientists have been experimenting with a mutant coronavirus strain that is 100 percent lethal in mice — despite concerns such research could spark another pandemic.
Scientists in Beijing — who are linked to the Chinese military — cloned a Covid-like virus found in pangolins, known as GX_P2V, and used it to infect mice.
The mice had been 'humanized', meaning they were engineered to express a protein found in people, with the goal being to assess how the virus might react in humans.
Every rodent that was infected with the pathogen died within eight days, which the researchers described as 'surprisingly' quick.
The team were also surprised to find high levels of viral load in the mice's brains and eyes - suggesting the virus, despite being related to Covid, multiplies and spreads through the body in a unique way.
Writing in a scientific paper that has not yet been published, they warned the finding 'underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans'.
Professor Francois Balloux, an infectious disease expert based at University College London, wrote on Twitter (X): 'It's a terrible study, scientifically totally pointless.
'I can see nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force-infecting a weird breed of humanized mice with a random virus. Conversely, I could see how such stuff might go wrong...'
Professor Richard Ebright, a chemist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, told DailyMail.com he wholeheartedly agreed with Professor Balloux's assessment.
He added: 'The preprint does not specify the biosafety level and biosafety precautions used for the research.
'The absence of this information raises the concerning possibility that part or all of this research, like the research in Wuhan in 2016-2019 that likely caused the Covid-19 pandemic, recklessly was performed without the minimal biosafety containment and practices essential for research with a potential pandemic pathogens.'“
THINGS TO PONDER:
Do you notice a trend with things?
Another weird experiment with deadly stuff that “could go wrong… could get out… and could be 100% fatal to humans.”
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
THAT’S the right question.
There are strange things afoot… just like there were before COVID hit the mainstream…
Remember this?

A big welcome to our newest sponsor, Dr. Killigan’s Pest Control!
Got issues with critters? Sick of using things that can easily make you sick or kill you?
Dr. Killigan’s is THE all-natural solution. Check out what a customer had to say about their “Six Feet Under” non-toxic insect spray:
“I bought this to get rid of the ants that built a nest in my flagstone patio and sidewalk. I have granddaughters and pets, and I didn't want to use chemicals that could make them sick if they were exposed. I've used other natural pesticides in the past with mild success but this stuff definitely does the trick! I've only had to spray one time over a month ago...still no sign of the ants returning. 10/10, will be purchasing more.”

“Texas residents were asked to avoid using large appliances such as washing machines to conserve energy as frigid temperatures threatened the state's power grid.
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), which operates 90 percent of the state's electric load, urged residents to conserve energy ahead of "tight conditions" as bitterly cold conditions hit the Lone Star State on Monday.
Nearly the entire state was under some form of winter weather advisory, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), and the conditions were expected to last through Tuesday. The cold weather was likely to lead to high demand for energy, and an ERCOT webpage suggested that Texans could conserve power by refraining from using large appliances.
Other suggestions included lowering the thermostat by a degree or two, turning off and unplugging nonessential lights and appliances, turning off unused lights and equipment at commercial offices and turning off the heat at commercial businesses outside of operating hours.
The cold air is a particular cause for concern in the state, considering that Texas suffered a massive power grid failure in February 2021 after three severe storms and frigid temperatures stressed the grid. Millions of Texans lost power, limiting their access to food, water and warmth. The failure proved fatal, as hundreds died because of the outage.
THINGS TO PONDER:
We’re at the stage of the game now where you need to understand something clearly:
If a government agency, or something similar to one, operates something you cannot count on it to work.
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas isn’t the only one, but it’s the most concerning. As we wrote in the December 19, 2023 edition of Ripped From The Headlines:
But there’s a bigger issue:
When the utility companies you (over) pay for services are no longer governed by law to provide them to you, what do you do?
The answer seems to be to take it like a good slave and die.
That’s sad, but it’s also dangerous…
Think for a moment about a MAJOR disaster… what incentive do providers have to get power (or any other critical service) back up in a timely manner?
None.
And think about what that could mean for hospitals… medicines… and key supplies.
The decisions you make on who represents your interests have consequences… and you now see it in Texas.
And Texas isn’t the only place where issues are coming.
Brace For Impact.

“Tesla owners in Chicago were left in dire straits as they were unable to charge their cars because of freezing weather temperatures. Fox Chicago reported that charging stations have become ‘car graveyards’ as temperatures drop into negative double digits.
Tyler Bears, who had tried to charge his Tesla at a charging station in Oak Brook, Illinois, was stuck for hours. He said: ‘Nothing. No juice. Still on zero percent. And this is like three hours being out here after being out here three hours yesterday.’
He was one of the many Tesla owners stuck in a long queue of cars waiting to be able to charge their vehicles. Tesla owner Chalis Mizelle also told Fox Chicago: ‘This is crazy. It’s a disaster. Seriously.’
She added that she had to abandon her car and hitch a ride with a friend because her car wouldn't charge. Ms Mizelle added: ‘We got a bunch of dead robots out here.’"
THINGS TO PONDER:
Don’t chase the shiny object…
Just because it looks fancy, or you think it’s “good for the environment” doesn’t mean you should jump into a frozen lake head first…
And now, there are a bunch of people who are finding that out the hard way.
And now we know what the kryptonite is for electric cars…
Look for the line of issues to get longer and longer.
